Rilo Kiley - FrugI still wish there were more real people. And that they're capable of loving, and being loved.

I am letting you destroy me.

nicole atkinsThe room is a sickly shade of orange. It gives it an awkward warm feeling at sunset when it makes you think of cheese oozing from your ceiling, slowly dripping on your hair. It ought to be a good thing, I guess. But I think it was a failed attempt at beige. And to cover up for their mistake, they painted a neon-y lipstick pink opposite the wall. Which now looks like Cheese with Pimiento, according to Raff. Then the neon blue and white window would be a total contradiction. One must not have more than three shades in a room. But I like it. :) Except for the fact that the sun would be screaming at your face in the bloody morning, because of the bed being infront of the window. That's why I need curtains. Thick curtains. And maybe some tables and lamps. I like room lamps. They're dim and non-conducive to learning. But that's hardly the point so whatever.

There has got to be something wrong with that house though. It has a tendency to isolate people from each other. As if making the exact spot where you are completely sound-proof and it would seem like there's absolutely noone, no living being or any type of life form whatsoever in the entire house with you. It commands silence, as the air seems to be filled with the feel of being sheltered by a strict old lady. But I guess it's better than having an actual old lady around. You know how frustrating it gets having your mom or some old relative wrapped around your head all the time.
